It seems almost everywhere I look online there is someone screaming at me about how to make a million dollars in 10 days, or so other wiz bang way of making a fortune from the internet. So what I thought I would do is share a very practical straight forward income strategy to making a full time income online.

I do have to warn you the income strategies I am going to share with you is not sexy and you won’t make a million dollars in 10 days however it is a very simply, practical, no fluff approach to earning a fulltime income online and absolutely anyone can do it.

It has been said that the internet is an easy thing that is hard to do. Many people tend to over complicate what it really is.

A big mistake many people starting out online make is that they put up one site and try and make ALL their money from that one site. A better and easier way is to have many site making you small amount that will add up to the big amount.

It is easier to create a website or blog that is making $1 a day than it is $1000 a day and that is what this whole income strategy is all about.

Do you think you can make a website that makes $1 a day, $30 a month? Yeah that is what I thought. You may have already acquired this skill which is great, and if you haven’t I am sure you are saying to yourself that “Yeah, I can learn how to make a site make $1 a day, that seems easier enough” and you are right.

You can make a $1 a day simply by putting Google Adsense on your sites in many cases.

So let’s do some math here: If you can create 50 sites making $1 a day that is $1500 per month ($30 x 50 sites) which is $18,000 a year, just from a $1 a day.

Now what if you could sell an eBook that earns you $30 commission and just sell 1 per month on each site, Just 1 book a MONTH! That would be another $18,000 per year.

Now you are making $36,000 a year from 50 sites each just generating $60 a month. I hope you can see the simplicity in this…

What if you can get each site just making you $90 per month, which would be $54,000 a year! As I said it may not be the sexiest way to make a full time income online however this is how many people do it.

By the way out of your 50 sites you will naturally have some that exceed the $90 a month and some that will do less, however it doesn’t really matter, the great thing is that you are earning money from multiple markets with multiple sites giving you some income protection by not putting all your eggs in one basket.

Affiliate marketing is a great way to earn a living working from home, there is not product creation, customer service, etc. As an affiliate you only job is to drive traffic through your affiliate coded links and collect the money.

There are many ways you can promote other peoples products as an affiliate, however today I am going to focus on one affiliate marketing strategy that I have used for some time now with great success.

Ok…what I have found as the best way to promote affiliate products is to pre sell the customer on the product before you send them straight to the sales page. You can do this in 3 main ways: You could do a comparison type site, you can pre sell with stories, or you can do a review type site.

I really like review sites and that is what we are going to do here. Once I have my blog all set and looking the way I want it, you then want to write a short review of the product that you are promoting and make it a static page on your blog. You want this page to always be the first thing a visitor sees when they go to your blog. You can do this in the ‘Reading’ option under the ‘Settings’ section of your blog admin area.

How To Write A Product Review.

1. My Story, The Problem – Tell a short story about myself, making it personal and related to my target audience. You then want to pull some emotional strings about the problem your target market is experiencing. For example if I was selling a stop snoring product I might say something like this:

“Are you snoring yourself and your family members to death? I know I used to, for many years I had suffered from snoring and mild sleep apnea, in my early 20’s it didn’t really bother me. Now I as I am married and getting older it has become a real problem and it’s starting to seriously affect my health, not to mention my relationship.”

1. Be Skeptical, Before Solution – At this point I mention that I finally had enough and went on a search and finally found a solution. But to not come across as like all I want to do is sell something I will mention that I was skeptical just like your reader probably is. Staying with the same snoring example I might say something like this:

“On my search to find out how I could stop snoring I came across this anti snoring device that, well to say the least had an amazing effect on my snoring.

However before I tell you about this anti snoring device and my experience with it I want to tell you that I was very skeptical about it at first and was a bit hesitant about using it but to cut a long story short it came with a full 12 Month, 365 Day Money Back Guarantee so I thought I would give it a good honest try, thinking if it doesn’t work, well I haven’t lost anything.”

1. Explain Solution and Testimonials – There I will talk more detail about the solution a small sales pitch and then show 4 – 5 testimonials which I get from the website of the product I am promoting.
2. Call To Action – Make sure you have a few links on the page where the visitor can find out more information about what solved your problem or where they can go to purchase the product. I usually place a banner in the side bar aswell and have an opt-in form on the site to capture name and emails so I can follow up and even offer my list other products that are related to the niche I am in.

Now you need some content to post in the back of your blog, so to speak to make it look and appear more as a genuine blog offering great tips and advice about your niche.

The best part here is that you don’t have to create the content. I am going to show you where you can get FREE content posted to your blog related to your niche market. Some of the reasons you want this is to:

• Save you time and energy from creating it yourself.
• To help create more back links.
• Having fresh new content posted all the time while getting pinged will bring over the search engine crawlers helping you rank better
• You can also bookmark this content (automatically of course) creating even more backlinks, helping your search engine rankings.

So Where Do You Get This Free Content?

Once you have all this set up you blog will grow and your search engine rankings will increase over time. What I like to do in the mean time is to market my blog now for a few months by submitting articles to the article directories which send traffic to the site directly while also adding more back links.

I then follow the traffic generation tips I gave you in this post and I will also do some videos to help promote the blog and submit them to many video sharing sites using Traffic Geyser or TubeMogul which is a free service

On top of all that I will promote them continually though UAW which after the initial few months puts all my marketing on autopilot.

I have used this exact model many times to create many ‘Money Machines’ that continually to send me money every month and some of them I haven’t touched

Running a home business online definitely has its perks and advantages that I believe are unmatched anywhere else however there are a lot of task and jobs that need to be done. One of the great and remarkable things about computers and technology is that software and programs can be written and developed to help us home based entrepreneurs with these important but time consuming tasks, ultimately making our lives a whole lot easier. (arr isn’t it a wonderful world we live in)

Leaving a comment on a blog with a link to your website is a great way of generating traffic. Humans are curious creatures we often want to know what others are doing. If someone likes what you say they will click on your link to find out more about you. Blog commenting will also create a back link to your website, which is great for SEO purposes.

Tips:

• Find popular blogs that get lots of traffic
• Find blogs that have a lot of interaction e.g. other people leaving comments
• Be respectful to the blog and its audience – ad value or a compliment, etc
• Find blogs with a high PageRank for SEO purposes.
• In Google type in ‘keyword + blog’ to find a list of blogs related to your niche
• Set a schedule to do 3 – 5 comments on as many blogs a day. (be consistent)
• Don’t pitch your website
• Don’t spam

Yahoo Answers: Overview

Yahoo answers gets loads of traffic about a huge broad range of topics, most niches are covers and what you want to do is answer question from people in your niche market and direct them to your website or an affiliate site. This will also create a back link to your site and can work similar to an article meaning that you can generate traffic from good answers for weeks and months after wards. It also can show that are a leader in your field contributing and offering others value.

Tips:

• Subscribe to the RSS feed and add it in your iGoogle or MyYahoo so you can always get the latest answers posted.
• Only answer questions that are still open, where the best answer has NOT yet been chosen.
• Be informative and helpful.
• Always include a link to where you want the reader to go in the answer and in the resources box
• Create the habit of answering 5 – 10 questions a day.
• Don’t spam
• Can be a great way to do research in your niche and find out what are the biggest problems or questions people have in your niche.

Forum Marketing: Overview

Forums are a great way to generate targeted traffic to your website and help you grow a list. It is a great way to contribute to a community, offer others value and be recognized as a leader and build relationships and credibility. Simple set up a great signature; this is like a small advertisement for your business or product. That appears at the bottom of every topic you start or reply to. This is a very powerful way to get targeted traffic.

Tips:

• Find very active forums to participate in.
• Don’t spam the forum be a contributing member.
• Post in 3 forums a day

Some good topics to post about:

• Ask a question
• Answer a question
• Make a suggestion
• Provide an opposing view
• Agree with a post
• Suggest a resource
• Post a YouTube video
• Provide an insider tip

As you can see all these methods are simple, won’t cost you anything and anyone can do them, as I stated before however to really see results floods of traffic you must be consistent. One of my mentors said to me that if you want something that others do0n’t have you must do what others are not prepared to do, most people learn about this methods and because they are not sexy they don’t do them. Do not fall in to this trap, I am the first to admit they are not fancy and sexy but they DO work and they work great if you are consistent.

Try doing one method a day for an hour of total focus, if you do this at the end of a month you will see a big difference in the amount of traffic you can generate, and after 90 days you will be astonished.

Whenever I am asked ‘what is the quickest and easiest way to make money from home’ I often refer people to eBay.

Selling your stuff on eBay is easy, fast, you don’t need to spend money on advertising or know any fancy SEO (Search Engine Optimization) stuff and you don’t need any special computer skills.

All you need is a digital camera.

What I am going to share with you today are some of my best eBay selling tips that have help me sell more stuff on eBay for higher profits and faster.

Just quickly for the people who don’t know much about eBay, think of eBay as a giant garage sale or warehouse where absolutely anything can be brought or sold.

EBay get millions of visitors to their site every month and the best part about these visitors is that they are usually there for only one of two reasons. They are there to sell something or they are there with credit card in hand ready to buy something.

Now, just one more thing before I share with you the eBay selling tips that will make you mo’ money. When I refer people to eBay I commonly hear “I don’t have anything to sell” or “no one would want to buy my junk”, etc.

I want to say that this is a very big mistake. I am going to show you places where you can find loads of things to sell on eBay, but just to make my point here that eBay truly is one of the strangest market places I have experienced. I have friends who have sold used tennis shoes and even half empty bottles of moisturizer.

So if all you want to do is make some quick bucks I am sure you already have some stuff lying about at home, but later on I am going to share with you where to find loads of great items you can sell and make some really nice profits.

So with that said let’s get on with the eBay selling tips so you can start making some money.

As I said you don’t need to know any fancy SEO (search engine optimisation) trickery however just like if you had a website you want people to find it when they search for your keyword in Google, well eBay is essential no different.

While the process is so much easier and far less complicated but you still want your listing to be found when someone searches a keyword phase in to eBay.

Here are some eBay selling tips to help your items show up in the top search results of eBay.

1. Title – First you want to do a quick search yourself on eBay for similar items you are selling on eBay and notice what ‘titles’ other people are using that are showing up in the top search results and simple use the same title or something similar.
2. Short Auctions – If you are selling an item that has a lot of competition on eBay like an iPhone you want to set the time frame for the auction or ‘buy it now’ as short as possible. EBay will show the items that are about to end first and higher up the search results, so take advantage of this and have 1 day auctions so you are always on the 1^st or 2^nd page of the search results.
3. Free Shipping – From my experience I have personally found that eBay favours listings that offer free shipping, even if you only offer free shipping locally in your own country. My theory on this is that many people were over charging for shipping trying to doge the eBay fees so as a result eBay now place the ‘Free Shipping’ item closer to the top. Also I find even if you add a little extra to the price of the item you are selling if you have it listed as ‘buy it now’ people don’t mind as i think psychologically the buyer thinks they are getting a good deal, and who doesn’t like getting a good deal, right

Some eBay selling tips when creating your listing.

1. Have Good Photos – You always want to make sure you have good detailed photos of what you selling. Take them from different angles be thoughtful of the customer. Think if you were buying the item what pictures would you want to see and if there are dents or scratches don’t be afraid of taking photos of them, the more honest you are the better.
2. Include a Video – Something I have been testing recently is including a video in my listings and I have to say the feedback from people has been great. What you want to do is go over to YouTube.com and find a review of the product you are selling, or a video of the item in action. For example if you are selling radio remote control cars find a video that shows it is action.
3. Clear Return Policy – You also want to make sure you offer a money back guarantee if not as described clearly stated in the description. Don’t try and hide this away, make it clear so people can see it. This could make the difference from the consumer buying from you or someone else.

Here are some eBay selling tips to help you get bigger profits

1. Maintain Your Feedback – You want to make sure to check for question regularly and answer then as soon as possible. Be friendly and informative, this will ensure the buyer leaves you good feedback. I can’t stress enough how important it is that you do whatever you can to have a 100% Good Feedback or as close as possible. Your feedback is something every buyer will look at and judge you one to know whether you are trustworthy to buy from.
2. Start Small – If you are just starting out on eBay the best thing to do is start out by selling some small low cost items to start with to build up your feedback and rating before you start selling higher tickets. This will also help you get high prices when you auction items off also.

Where To Find Things To Sell On EBay

This really comes back to what your goals and objections are. If you just want to make some quick money from home you can easily find things around your own home and garage. If you want to step it up a notch you may want to go to the local garage sales in your area and see what you can find.

You can usually find some really cheap items at garage sales which you can sell for a good profit on eBay. Remember eBay has a very big audience. And to get a really big price for something all you need is two bidders who want what you are selling and you would surprised how high your items can sell for.

Most towns and cities usually have auction houses, if you have some money to spend on stock these places can be a gold mine. Investigate where the police auction off all the seized stolen goods and where shops that have gone out of business are selling off their left over stock.

One of the main things I teach people how to do is to earring residual income, I truly believe there is no better way to create finical security and freedom in your life than focusing all your efforts earning residual income streams.

Before we explore some of the ways how to earn residual income online we are going to define what exactly residual income is.

Residual income is when you simply get paid over and over month after month after someone buys something. For example if you run a membership site where someone has to continue to pay a monthly fee to stay a member this is residual income.

This is very powerful as you only have to sell the customer once and you will continue to get paid for your efforts for months, sometimes even years into the future. Unlike selling an eBook once where the money stops flowing unless you continue to get new customers.

Some other examples of earning residual income is being an author or musician and getting paid royalties, or selling consumable products like vitamins or electricity where people will often continue to purchase often on an autoship or direct debt basis. Another example is creating a piece of software like an email autoresponder and charging consumers a monthly fee in order to use it.

So the big question is how do you create residual income streams that continue to flow to you and increase over time?

Well you can always create your own piece of software, membership site or start a manufacturing plant however for many people this is out of range or simply don’t have the capital, time or know how.

One way you can earn residual income is to become an affiliate of these kind of sites or companies. For example you could write an eBook about email marketing and the importance of having an autoresponder and in the eBook have your affiliate link directing readers to an autoresponder service that you like and trust.

While you have these customers you may then refer them to a membership site that is related to internet marketing and then you could collect another stream of residual income.

The great thing about focusing your efforts in earning residual income you will notice that it may start out small however as you continue to promote them your income will grow exponentially over time creating true hands free income.

By being an affiliate to membership sites or network marketing companies is that you don’t have to worry about creating new content each week or month or customer service as all this is the responsibility of the membership site owner or company.

One of my personal favourite ways to earn residual income is though network marketing or Mlm Company as you can earn residual income from both sides. You not only earn money from the repeat product users, you also have the leverage of earning as a business owners and creating residual income from other business builders.

As I said at the start of this post there truly is no better ways to create wealth over the long term as focusing your efforts on earning residual income. So if you are not already i strongly urge you to start focusing your efforts on creating these kinds of income streams.
